We are committed to safeguarding customer information. Our policy is designed to protect the confidentiality of information we have about you. Since your privacy is a priority to us,MNB will not share non-public information about you with third parties outside of our organization without your consent, except as explained in our Privacy Policy.
We may amend our Privacy Policy from time to time. Annually, we will send our customers our most recent Privacy Policy notice.

About Our Privacy Policy
Protecting your privacy is the highest priority of every employee of MNB. We want you to understand what information we may gather and how we may share it. This Privacy Policy explains MNB’s collection, use, retention and security of information about you.

We Collect Information to Serve You and Administer Our Business
As part of providing you with financial products or services, we may obtain information about you from a variety of sources:

applications, forms, and other information that you provide to us, whether in writing, in person, by telephone, electronically or by any other means. This information may include your name, address, social security number, date of birth, employment information, income and credit references;

public sources. This information may include real estate records, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and e-mail content.

Sharing Information Outside MNB
We may be required to or we may provide information about you to third parties outside of our bank without your consent, as permitted by law, such as:

to respond to a subpoena or court order, judicial process, law enforcement agencies or regulatory authorities;
to consumer reporting agencies;
to protect against fraud, money laundering and other risks.

In addition, we may provide information about you to our service providers to help us process your applications or service your accounts. These may include billing, Internet, on-line banking and bill payment service providers, statement, mail and telephone service companies, check printers, insurance tracking companies, insurers, loan settlement service providers, property inspection companies, attorneys or other professionals. These service providers use your information for our purposes only and uphold the confidentiality and security of this information.

All our service providers have confirmed to us in writing that they do not use our customers’ information for any other purposes.

We may also disclose some of the information we collect, as described above, to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements, such as securities broker-dealers and insurance agents.

We do not provide non-public information about you to any non-MNB service provider or marketing company.

Sharing Information Within MNB

As part of an effort to provide customers with comprehensive and effective service, we may use information that we have collected about you to inform you of certain financial products and services that may be of interest to you and which you may not otherwise know about. You may be contacted by a bank representative as necessary to service your account or for other non-marketing purposes. We may also continue to provide marketing information in your regular mailings and statements.

Sharing Information with MNB Affiliates
We may share certain information about you with our affiliates. This may include identification information (such as your name and address) and information regarding your account transactions and experiences with us (such as your payment history), as allowed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Sharing Information with MNB Affiliates for Marketing Purposes
We may share information with our affiliates in order to advise you about their products and services we believe may be of interest to you. Federal law gives you the right to opt-out of marketing from MNB affiliates. You may limit our affiliates from marketing their products or services to you based on the information that we collect such as your income, account history and credit score. You may instruct us not to disclose this information to our affiliates for marketing purposes by completing our Opt-out Form and mailing it to the address below:

We Limit Employee Access to Your Information
All MNB employees adhere to a code of conduct that includes the responsibility to protect the confidentiality and security of customer financial and personal information. Employees are bound by this Privacy Policy and are educated on implementing MNB’s information security practices. We have designed procedures to restrict access to the personal and account information of our customers to those employees who need to know that information in the course of their job responsibilities and to service your account.

We have developed physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your non-public personal information in accordance with federal standards.
We strive to ensure that the information concerning you is accurate in all aspects. If we become aware of inaccuracies in our records, we will take prompt steps to make appropriate corrections. Internet e-mail is not a secure environment. Do not send confidential information, such as social security or account numbers, or copies of tax returns, to us by e-mail. In our e-mail response to you, we will not include confidential information about you.

Customer Privacy On-line
MNB is committed to protecting the privacy of customer information on the Internet. We use “cookies” for enhanced login security that works in conjunction with your on-line banking user ID and password to authenticate the customer as the authorized user. Privacy and Children On-line
We will not knowingly collect, use or disclose information from children. We will not send any unsolicited promotions to on-line users who indicate they are under 13 years of age unless the solicitation is in connection with an account opened by an adult. Our Former Customers
Even if you are no longer a MNB customer, our Privacy Policy will continue to apply to you.

Third Party Web Site Links
Our web site contains links to third party web sites that you may find useful. Once you leave Milford National’s site, our Privacy Policy will no longer be in effect. Those sites may have their own privacy policies. You should review the Privacy Policy of any web site before you provide nonpublic personal information.

Other Information

IDENTITY FRAUD INFORMATION
Identity theft is a fast-growing form of consumer fraud in this country. The Milford National and its subsidiaries, Forward National Company, Inc. and CrossRoads Insurance Agency, Inc. work hard to protect your information. You too can play a role.

Identity Theft – Minimize your risk
It is important to take some measures to avoid becoming a victim yourself, by being a smart consumer. Here are some things you can do to minimize your risk:

Keep your personal numbers safe and secure. Guard your social security number. Do not carry your SSN card.
Manage your mailbox. Remove mail promptly and never use your mailbox for outgoing mail.
Tear up unused credit offers, convenience checks and other documents containing personal information before discarding them.
Review bank and credit card statements for accuracy.
Pay attention to your billing cycles. If your bills don’t arrive on time, check with your creditors.
Don’t give out personal information to people you do not know, especially over the phone or Internet.
Commit all passwords and Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) to memory and do not give them to anyone.
Keep track of credit card, debit card and ATM receipts.

If You Become a Victim
Even with precautionary action identity theft can still happen. If you believe you are a victim of identity theft, take action immediately. Here are some suggestions recommended by the FTC:

Contact your banks, credit card companies, and all others with whom you have a financial relationship.
Contact the major credit bureaus listed below and request a “fraud alert” be placed on your file.
